"All of Nature moves in cycles. The Moon does. The Sun does. Our bodies do. Even the Cacao Bean does. It seeds, germinates, sprouts, flowers and from there can bear its new fruits.”
The Winter Solstice marks the shortest day and longest night of the year. More specifically, it marks the moment that half of the Earth is tilted farthest away from the Sun. In The Southern Hemisphere this moment will meet us on 21st June 2024. How will we chose to meet it?
When we look to nature we are shown that everything works in cycles and seasons. The winter seasons brings darkness, long nights and cold days with it. Time moves gently forward, the stars shine more than usual and the animals and trees go inward. All of nature knows this time to be one of rest, introspection and renewal.
We can look at The Winter Solstice as a time of both ending and beginning. A powerful time where nature grants us space to pause and go inwards to forgive, surrender and let go of what no longer serves us so that the new seeds of our hearts can germinate and grow.
Cacao and Winter both hold warming, nourishing, slowing down energy. They ask us to slow down so that we can descend deeper into our hearts. From ours to yours we have created some journal prompts to help you welcome this time of year over a warm nourishing cup of Wild Craft Cacao.

May this Winter Solstice find you wrapped around loved ones, soups, fires and mugs of Cacao. May it find you healthy and supported and may it find you walking closer towards your heart, always.
Love,
